“What’s on your mind?”, “Compose a new tweet…” are two of the famous questions/lines in famous social networking sites.  Social Networking sites are the utilization of internet-based social media programs to make connections with friends, family, classmates, customers and clients. Social networking can be done for social purposes, business purposes or both. Examples of social networking sites are Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter.

I personally, have created my own accounts too. Facebook helps me communicate through chat, exchange messages, including status updates and stalk people’ profile whenever I want too. J I also have an account in Twitter that allows me to stay connected through the exchange of short status messages. Instagram is also one of my accounts that enable me to share exciting photos and videos.

Social networking has become one of the most important parts of our daily life as it enables us to make contact with a large amount of people. Individuals are given opportunities to meet new people and friends in their own and also in the other diverse communities across the world. By doing so, individuals can become friends or fans of the profile, and will be updated on current events, specials, and other essential information that the masses would like to share. Thus, to summarize social networking sites are one of the most important parts of human lives in the modern times.
